19thC Antique American Folk Art Needlepoint Dog w Cane Wall Pocket, Carved Wood. One of a kind Victorian Needlepoint Wall Pocket depicting a Spaniel Dog with a Cane in. Mouth, dated 1871 in small beadwork. Finely hand carved Walnut body. Curlicues and a crest at the top with the letter "A".

Total height is 22 1/2. Tall needlepoint pocket projecting approx. The wood has been carefully cleaned and detailed.
