This is a lovely very long Victorian chain with slide. It is of the Victorian era (circa: 1880s). It is crafted from 10K yellow gold.
The chain is a double soldered link and in magnificent condition with no breaks or repairs noted. This chain is one solid piece with no clasp. It can be doubled and tripled with ease. The slide is a mourning slide with fine black enamel black onyx and seed pearls.
I do not see any damage to the enamel, simply minimal wear to the edges. The center stones are all individually bezel set. They are black onyx as well as small natural seed pearls. The slide is in equally spectacular condition, solid 10K.
The side does slip a bit at certain parts but can remain where placed if properly adjusted. If you wanted to re-cork the slide it would be more secure from sliding unintentionally, but noted. This is a lengthy and rather heavy chain, presented in wonderful condition with minimal wear, no repairs. Slide: 26.8 mm x 18 mm x 11.3 mm. Of course I honor this policy.
