A unique hand crafted antique brooch made of malachite and 14k yellow gold featuring an embellished Cannetille goldwork. The two pieces top and circular round piece likely originated as separate pieces of jewelry and were joined at a later point in time. Estimated late 1800s to early 1900s, later pin stem. Metals: tested 14k gold, the metal on some of the findings that's white is not gold (the c catch part of the pin as well as the jump rings). Measurements: 1 5/8" x 1 5/8".Findings: c clasp with safety. Condition: Item in good estate condition, age appropriate patina and tarnish. Some minor nicks and wear to malachite (only visible with magnification). Signs of prior repair to back of brooch. Items included: a new presentation box.
