Antique Ostby Barton 10K Gold. 50ct Genuine Ruby & Diamond Victorian Ring 1.6g. Featured for sale here is an estate antique Victorian Ostby Barton 10K solid yellow gold genuine ruby & diamond ring!! 15ct glowing red simulated rubies are set in this ring with genuine diamonds consisting of one.

Diamonds and gemstones have minor nicking and chips but overall look great. Solid hallmarked 10K yellow gold; some original patina present on the gold.

Measures 10 mm at the face of the ring and 1.7 mm at the shank. Founded in 1879 in Providence, Rhode Island, Ostby Barton produced remarkable pieces until they ceased production in the 1950's. One of the co-founders, Engelhart Ostby is also known for being one of the people who perished on the infamous R. The Maltese cross next to the hallmark indicates this piece was made during Ostby's lifetime, meaning this piece was made prior to 1912! Victorian detail throughout make this a piece that will be treasured now and for generations to come!
