Genuine Victorian Bohemian Garnet Crescent Moon Star Estate 1 1/2 Brooch Pin

  

Up for your consideration is the following. I obtained from an estate sale this and another brooch with garnets (separately listed), worn by the same woman somewhere in the time period of late 1800s. I have had it professionally cleaned and inspected by a jeweler, the base metal is covered by what he stated was a low grade of gold, used in that period? They are definitely garnets, verified but he did not grade them, I simply wanted it cleaned and to ensure that what I was representing was authentic period/genuine stone jewelry. Measures star to star wide 1 1/2" and top of moon to bottom 1 1/8".
