Large & Fabulous 14K Victorian Seed Pearl Necklace

  

This piece has been in my personal collection for a good while. Since I have not worn it in over 5 years I decided to offer to a new home. This is a truly amazing piece.

It is crafted from 14K Rose gold with many many completely original seed pearls through out. The only thing not original in this necklace is the 14K snake chain and the bail. The bail is testing as 10K and not 14K so I conclude that the bail is not original but works perfectly with this piece.

The pendant dates from the mid 1800's and is in excellent condition. I fitted it with a modern but very fine and worthy snake chain which is 14K and probably from the 1980's/90's. Both pieces are in excellent condition.
