Victorian REAL amethyst seed pearls 9ct - 14K gold brooch pin pendant. The pin is marked 14K and some spots test 14K with the electronic gun but most parts of this pin / pendant test lower and closer to 9ct.

This Pin / Pendant has been altered several times in the past 100 years. Yes you can string a gold chain through the hoops and hang as a pendant. Currently a few of the seed pearls on the Pendant are slightly discolored and several are missing. You have to push all the seed pearls to one side to notice that any are missing. I have included some replacement seed pearls for if you decide to alter or repair.

To replace you would have to cut the current gold wire and restring on a longer wire. I always recommend Rio Grande Jewelry Supply for any gold wire.

A professional jewelry repair person would also be able to order more. The Amethyst is in really good condition with no chips or scratches or wear from age that I can see. Overall this is a really beautiful pin in really good condition.
