Antique Victorian 10k Rose Gold Quartz Horseshoe Locket Pendant. It is inlaid with gold quartz which was very popular in the 1880's during the Gold Rush Era.

Most of the gold quartz was mined in California near the San Francisco area. Needed to mention for accuracy. It opens and closes perfectly.

Measures approx 32mm by 31mm. Weight approx 10.3 grams. Not marked but testing between 10k and 14k gold. It is jumping between 10k and 14k on my electronic tester and is holding with 14k acid but not as well as the 10k.
