Victorian 10K Yellow Gold Filigree Pin Citrine Green Leaves 2.1gr 1 Oval Stone

  
This listing includes a lovely, solid 10k yellow gold, brooch from a local estate. It is a Victorian/Edwardian era piece with green gold leaves flanking an oval cut dark yellow stone "floating" in the center. This has a wire filigree border. Overall the brooch measures about 1" long and 1/2" wide.

The stone is about 8mmx6mm. It tests much harder than glass. I believe it is citrine. I see no damage on it looking through my loupe. The clasp and hinge are structurally strong with no feeling of weakness or damage.

However, the hinge end has some black discoloration (that a jeweler could more than likely clean) and appears that it might have been damaged and/or repaired. Note the two spots of separation of the back band of bordering gold. Again, it's tight and works fine but I want to be sure and mention it. The locking clasp is marked "10K". The weight is 2.1 grams.
