Every millimeter of this piece has been lovingly and carefully crafted. The face and back have a cloisonne enameling of flowers in sky blue, white and pale green. The gold itself is textured and hand engraved. One small old mine cut diamond sits in a star shaped engraving. The locket is about 14mm wide and 17mm tall including the simple circular bail. The piece opens to two round areas for pictures and is about 6mm deep-- very easy to wear. Condition is very good for its age.

There is some enamel pitting and minor loss under magnification. It looks fantastic when worn. The hinge and clasp works well to allow the locket to open easily and shut securely.
