This is a stunning antique Edwardian - Victorian long chain Necklace decorated with Red Enamel links with a central trefoil medallion set with Rose Cut Diamonds from the Estate of Ambassador and Mrs. The magnificent red enamel and Rose Cut Diamond necklace is 22.5 inches long. From the center medallion hangs a drop section with a pendant loop from which you can hang your favorite pendant or locket. It is a rare and beautiful chain in 14 Karat Gold with eight red enamel decorated stations set throughout the necklace. The central medallion has three enamel heart shape sections and is set with four Rose Cut Diamonds.The necklace is from the estate of Ambassador and Mrs. Evan Galbraith was the United States Ambassador to France from 1981 to 1985 and the Secretary of Defense Representative to Europe and NATO from 2002 to 2007. Ambassador Galbraith and Marie "Bootsie" Rockwell were married in 1964. The necklace is 22.5 inches (57cm) long. The central medallion is 1/2 inch (13mm) long.
