Vintage Victorian Large Tiger Oak American Dresser Chest with Mirror Circa 1900's. We are proud to offer an extremely nice estate furniture. It is simple, elegant, and classic all rolled into one. Outstanding American oak server / sideboard. The design elements combines fabulous tiger oak (sometimes called quarter sawn oak), bowed or bent glass side display cabinets, carved top crest, slightly fluted top server surface, fluted top shelf, bent wood skirt below the top shelf, and carving on the knees of the legs. The quality of the workmanship is incredible both in the visible and hidden construction elements.

Outstanding detail in the carving, beautiful hardware, dovetailed key corner joints, bowed front drawers, etc. A lock in every drawer shows that it was originally meant for a home with servants. This is an original piece not a later reproduction.

Probably from about 1890s or 1900s. It was refinished many years ago and remains in good condition. It has been previously restored including refinishing both inside and out.

If there was any damage, it was professionally repaired. The wear is normal and appropriate to an item of this age. The mirror does show some typical fogging. Some candle burnishing by the top shelf which are photographed from a time before electricity. There are reflections in the photographs.
